Beverly Laurel Hotel at West Hollywood

Service was outstanding, and the room was spacious and nice. It was well priced and included parking. There were a few ragged edges that could use cosmetic attention, but nothing major. The motel sits in the middle of the Beverley area, within walking distance of The Grove and several good restaurants. I really enjoyed our stay, though I would've appreciated double-pane windows.

Our daughters had fun in the pool, even though it wasn't heated, and the valet staff were always friendly and up for a chat. The 24-hour reception team were lovely and helpful with information. The hotel gave me Melrose Place vibes and was a nice base for our Hollywood visit, though there wasn't much right nearby besides the Swingers diner next door. We liked the clean rooms, beachy feel, smiley cushions and welcome tote bag. We'd booked one double room but should have booked two. The beds weren't big enough for our family of four, all of us tall, and unfortunately the hotel was booked out when we tried to get another room. Still, we had a nice stay and would come back.

I picked this hotel because it was close to Cedars Sinai, close enough to walk if needed, and it worked perfectly for what I needed. Room 203 was spacious and on a corner. The decor was fun, with a very kitschy 60s retro look, and the price was reasonable for the area. The bed was very comfortable, and the front office staff were helpful. There was shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer and two TVs in the room, but no drinking water, which I think they should provide. Swingers restaurant is next door, and there's a vending machine for drinks in the basement. Parking is valet and around $33, so you could also Uber and park somewhere else.

The room was spacious, cool and comfortable, though a little dated. The pull-out couch was fine, and traffic noise wasn't bad with our sound machine. We also liked the cafe next door for breakfast and desserts. Construction next door didn't bother us. I stayed with my father on 9/29/25 while he was recovering from surgery in a wheelchair. The hotel was reasonably priced and near family, and the staff were kind and helpful. The valet team went above and beyond by letting us use the elevator to the parking garage so I could load him more easily. Accessibility could be better: unloading was tricky because parking near the curb would block the drive lane, and the shower was slippery with no grab bars. We used towels and brought our own chair. It was a pleasant stay overall, and we'd recommend it and stay again.
