Days Inn New Braunfels

The place is nice and the rooms were clean, but breakfast was a letdown: they only had waffles and cereal. Everything else was clean. I’d give the place an 8.5, but lower that to a 7.5 because my phone was taken and comments were added that I hadn’t made. I actually stayed one night, not two. The earlier review saying my family and I stayed two nights and praising the rooms and staff was written by the front desk. They asked for my phone, which felt weird. When I asked why, she said something about preventing my credit card from being overbilled. Later I saw that review and found it a bit deceptive.

The room wasn’t clean when I arrived, with urine drops on the toilet seat, and the price felt too high for the quality and service. Staff kept crossing boundaries during my stay. I declined room service because I had my own toiletries and towels and the room was fine, but they continued knocking and trying to come in while I was asleep. The manager was especially unprofessional and had an attitude. Even though my room had already been checked, she accused me of having pets. She also questioned why I’d leave and come back late, which was none of her business. The whole experience was uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Save your money and look elsewhere.

The rooms are newly renovated and surprisingly quiet, even though the hotel is so close to the highway. Breakfast is free, the staff are friendly, and it’s a great place for the price.

I hadn’t been back in over a year, and the updated rooms were a great surprise. They’re clean and inviting. I’ve stayed here several times, and it’s always been pleasant. The staff are consistently helpful and friendly, especially the lady who works the front desk and is the owner or manager. She’s amazing. I’d highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.
