The location and amenities were excellent, but housekeeping fell short this time. On day three, the bed hadn’t been made and the towels weren’t replaced. The fitness room also had a strong damp, moldy smell, and the weights and resistance tubing had been removed, which limited my workout. Otherwise, I had a good stay.
10/10
Sagat at the front desk made our stay memorable. He greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived and made us feel welcome right away. Every interaction was friendly and attentive, and he clearly takes pride in doing his job well. His service went above and beyond, and we absolutely loved him. Holiday Inn Express is lucky to have Sagat.
4/10
The front desk was friendly, and the location is good, but I wouldn’t stay here again. There are several other hotels next door. All the walls in my room had cracks, and something clicked every twenty minutes, which was really annoying when I was trying to sleep. Only one elevator was working, and it needs maintenance.
10/10
The staff helped me out when I missed my flight connection because of ridiculousness with United airlines. I called the hotel, and they moved my reservation out by one night without charging me anything extra. The room was clean and comfortable, and for a corpo hotel it was really nice. Breakfast was standard IHG fare, with decent protein choices like eggs and yogurt.
2/10
The staff were very friendly, which was a bright spot, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The room looked worn out and badly in need of updates, and it didn’t feel clean. The sofa bed mattress was so uncomfortable it felt like sleeping on a box spring, so we couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. The TV also didn’t work during our stay.
