My husband and I slept like babies in the spacious, clean king bed. It was medium-firm and very comfortable, with plenty of pillows. The shower got nice and hot, and they had a shampoo and conditioner combo, bar soap, and lotion. There was a coffee machine in the room too, plus breakfast downstairs.

The room smelled awful, and when we told the front desk, they just handed us air freshener and didn’t seem to care. After we found bugs, including roaches and bed bugs, I understood why the smell was so bad. Don’t stay here. Save your money for somewhere nicer.

We came at the end of December and start of January looking for a pool where our toddlers could burn off energy. The heated pool was warm enough for them to swim for about 30 minutes to an hour before they got cold. The pool area was clean, though there was no hot tub and the lobby bathroom wasn’t working. The lobby and hallways smelled strongly of perfume or air freshener, but the smell didn’t seem to reach the rooms much. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was all right: for the three days I was there, it was sausage, biscuits, and egg omelets to put on the biscuits. The food was warm, and staff were willing to restock items even near the end of breakfast. There was no waffle machine.

We like staying here for Razorback games when we have our kids along. It’s quiet and away from the buzz, and the place is consistently clean and well managed. The hotel is right off I-49, and there’s a nice Mexican restaurant literally 3 minutes away.

The only thing I missed was a fitness room. The pool was nice, and the room I stayed in was comfortable. Staff were pretty nice too. Breakfast was okay, though it was the same every day.
