The pool is beautiful, and the shower was nice, but the property has a lot of potential it isn't living up to. Our rooms were small and needed cleaning and maintenance, with unbelievable stains on the furniture. The toilet wouldn't flush, and the amenities were minimal. There was a coffee pot but no coffee, and early check in costs $50 extra dollars. If you're with children, elderly, or concerned about safety, you may want to ask for a street level room. The metal staircase feels unnerving, and the black metal door gets scalding hot, so be careful.

After 40 straight years of loyalty, and more than 55 years of family history here, seeing prices go up by $100 a night and beverages in the pool area become paid just feels like greed over loyalty. The place has value because regulars keep coming back to relive old memories and retell the same stories, which somehow get better each visit. As a business owner, this reminded me what matters in service. It isn't gross income, it's the volume of families who come through that gate. These aren't petite bougie yuppies. They're everyday, hard working, blue collar, middle class people from all walks of life. Your greed shows, and loyalty can turn. Maybe this summer's business won't drop significantly, and if I'm wrong, good for yall. We'll see.

Everything was clean, and the surroundings were calm and quiet. We loved being out in nature, especially when deer came close. It was a beautiful experience, and we really enjoyed our stay.
