The Neighborhood Hotel-New Buffalo

Loved our room's decor and style, and all the little details were just right. The yard and shared spaces were great for relaxing or having a snack, and our favorite venues were within walking distance. We'll be back soon!

The kitchen was fully stocked, so cooking or warming up food was easy. They also had beach towels ready and snacks set out for the fire pit. The water machine with its pebble ice maker was an unexpected luxury, and we used it constantly. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully designed, and the team seemed to care about the space and guest experience. Whenever I contacted them, they were kind and quick to respond. The walls don't block all the sound, so noise can carry, but it didn't take away from our stay. The property is peaceful, lovely, and close to everything we wanted to see or do in New Buffalo, which made exploring easy. It's about an hour and a half from Chicago, and this was one of our best mini getaways in a long time. We loved it and would return. Such a thoughtful, charming place, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting New Buffalo.

We enjoyed the Neighborhood Hotel and the excellent nearby restaurants and shopping during our two-night stay. The rooms were bright, welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Everyone was so nice, and our questions got prompt answers. Our train schedule meant we needed somewhere to wait after checkout, and they kindly let us use the common area. We appreciated that a lot. What a lovely property. We'd love to return, 10/10!

The grounds are adorable, with outdoor decks, a firepit, and an extra TV room among the shared spaces. Parking is easy, and room access is electronic. The hotel is in downtown New Buffalo, within walking distance of the shops and restaurants, and New Buffalo beach is an easy seven-minute walk. I'd recommend it for a weekend getaway in N Buffalo.
