The Rosemont Motel has a simplicity and history that feel almost perfect to me. It isn’t meant to be The Ritz, and that would spoil its character. The owner is amazing, honest, caring, and real. I stayed a few days while looking around town and going back to the wooded outskirts. Nearly two years ago I came back to my family’s incredible hometown of Bedford after my sister died, bringing her remains to join the family. I remembered the motel and knew I had to stay when I saw it again. This place belongs in a movie, hint. Tonight I’m looking at Bedford photos, maps, and demographics while listening to WQRK 105.5 live and making final plans to come full circle, come home, and bring my entertainment company to Bedford. I’ll be back soon, and hopefully Lawrence County will be happy with what comes to life.

The man running this hotel is one of the nicest people I’ve met, and that alone is enough to make us return. When I accidentally locked us out of our room at 5am, I went to the office for the spare key and woke him up, I’m sure. He never acted annoyed or put out. It’s not the 4 seasons, but he’s an amazing guy. I can’t say that enough.

The owners were super friendly, and he let us see the room before we paid to make sure we were happy with it. We had a great stay and will be back.

This is our fourth stay, and I could’ve sworn I’d already reviewed the place. The owner is so likable, and the old-school motel has a lot of charm, right down to its actual metal room keys. I imagine we’ll keep coming back.

It’s a quaint place with lots of charm, and for the price, you can’t do better. It’s a great spot to stay if you’re heading to Bluesprings Cave. Jay at Front Desk is awesome. We’ll definitely be back.
