The staff were friendly, and they said a full renovation is planned within two years. Still, after four stays because the price was lower than other places, I’ll probably make this my last. The rooms are old, even though they’re always working on them. The linens were clean, but housekeeping missed plenty, including a liquor bottle left in the trash by the previous guest. They’ve also gotten rid of the small breakfast area.

We got in around 1 a.m. and found a strong mold smell coming from the bathroom, with mold all around the ceiling. The TV didn’t work either. We were too tired to call the front desk and ask for another room, but I mentioned it the next morning and said renting it out might be unhealthy. Maybe this was a one-time problem, but we won’t stay there on our way home.

The front desk man was friendly, and the woman who brought me towels was really sweet. That’s about all I can say in the place’s favor. The room was dirty, and it smelled as if bleach had been dumped to cover mildew or mold, though the tub was still disgusting, with what looked like slime mold. I killed roaches in the room, and they weren’t mine. The owner should pay more attention to the condition of the place instead of what I do day to day. Worst Econo Lodge I’ve stayed in.

I appreciated being able to find a room that took pets, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But the room wasn’t clean. The rollaway bed they gave us had live bugs crawling around and dead ones inside when we opened it. The toilet was dirty, the room smelled, and the sheets and blankets were stained. This place could be a lot better with a professional cleaning.
