I've stayed three times without any problems. It's quiet and comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms have been clean, and the toilets flush powerfully. The building is old, but the rooms have a working AC, shower, blow-dryer, ice machine, microwave, large mini fridge, and a TV with around 50 channels. There's plenty of parking and a quiet outdoor pool with tables and chairs. There's no lifeguard, so keep an eye on kids. The hotel is run by a friendly, helpful Indian man who lets me check in early for a $25 fee. Checkout is at 11 a.m., as usual, and breakfast is free. It's next to the highway, with easy access on and off, and a rest stop style gas station at the end of the road for quick necessities. Capitol City Mall isn't far if you need more shopping. Compared with some other spots in town where homeless people or vagrants are around looking shady, I feel comfortable here, especially with my wife or kids.

The pool was the only part I liked. We booked three days with family to visit Hershey Park, then added two more days because of the weather. Those five days were terribly uncomfortable. The beds were old and hard as rocks, there was no bath mat in the shower, and rugs folded up in places made tripping hazards. The ceiling by the pool's back entrance was falling in. For the first two nights, the person next door kept the TV blasting until 11 p.m. When we left, a couple in the hallway were fighting and pushing each other. It didn't feel quiet or kid-friendly with people fighting in the hall. I also think the woman overcharged me for the extra two days. For what we paid, I could've found somewhere better. Lesson learned: I won't stay here again when I return to PA. Don't waste your time, find somewhere else. You've been warned.

For $50 a night, this was about what I expected, and I'd stay again. The place was comfortable and safe, and there weren't any really loud noises. It was a little rough around the edges: a bathroom tile was missing, there were makeup stains on pillows, and a few dead flies by the windows. The fridge was plugged in and running but didn't cool anything, and both ice machines on our floor were out of order. The hair dryer didn't work, and there wasn't a coffee machine in the room. Neither mattered to me, but they're worth mentioning if they matter to you. We'd already eaten our perishables and didn't tell management about the fridge, so they may have been able to fix it, but we didn't ask.

During my work trip, I stayed here June 24-27 and then July 1-3, 2022. The second room was downstairs; its bathroom vent wasn't working, and the walls looked a bit dirtier and had marks. I was mostly busy with work and seeing the local points of interest, so I let those things go. The chair in that room leaned back, which made my day. On the first stay, I was upstairs. The room was 99% great, with maybe a little dust or dirt here and there, and the chair only leaned forward, which was annoying. The rooms were clean overall, staff were polite, and extending the stay wasn't too difficult. I liked having a microwave and fridge. If you don't need everything to be perfect, it's a good-priced place with availability. The other guests nearby were friendly too, and I'd recommend it.
