Ramada by Wyndham Beaver Falls

The pool was a hit with the kids, and the staff were awesome. Breakfast was good, and the fridge, microwave, and TV all worked. This was my second time here, and the rooms are pretty big and comfortable for the price. Our room could've been cleaner, though. There was a bottle of Gatorade, a little beach ball, and what looked like spilled Nerds candy under the beds. Everything else was good, and my family and I will keep staying here whenever we visit New Castle. Thanks, guys.

My stay was pleasant overall. It was quiet, my room was spotless, and they do clean the rooms, seemingly every other day. The staff were very nice, and the free continental breakfast each morning was a nice touch. The hotel is quite old and needs upgrades, and some amenities are missing. In the section where I stayed, there were no room telephones, and hot water took at least 6 to 7 minutes to come through. I also read reviews that didn't match what I saw: I found no mold, dirt, or bugs. It met my needs.

I felt like I'd spent the night in New York City, with people yelling at each other all night. This place felt dangerous, and I strongly recommend staying away, especially with children. The first-floor floors were soaked, like an ice rink, and there was garbage and debris everywhere. More than 50 people were in the pool, which was still occupied at 2 a.m. even though it was supposed to close at 11. Nothing was done about it. Outside doors didn't lock, and I watched parents come and go to drop off and pick up kids in swimsuits. People were smoking inside because it was raining, and the front desk did nothing when I reported it. My room smelled like smoke. I also saw a visibly sloppy drunk kid, maybe 14 to 15, having a smoke session outside with weed or something, I don't know. Breakfast wasn't ready on time, and there was nothing to offer in the morning. This has turned into a trap hotel. If you live in the hood, maybe you'll love it here, but I definitely wouldn't stay again.

The staff were really kind, and I feel bad for them. We were supposed to stay two nights but left after the first and went to another hotel because the place didn't feel safe. The hallways were dim and smelled musty, and it was freezing even with space heaters in the common areas. The room was nasty, old, and seemingly never updated. The carpet was gross enough that I didn't want to walk on it without shoes, and the bathroom was old and discolored. The hotel looked nothing like the photos, which made us choose it because we thought the rooms had been updated. The pool area looked nice, but there was nowhere to sit, the tile was really wet, and after 6pm it was so dark you could hardly see. Maybe that was for the best. There were also space heaters around the pool, which felt super unsafe.
