There were bugs in the bathroom too, crawling on the faucet and in the shower, and more were on the curtains and window inside the room. Some were even flying around. When I opened the door, a musty odor hit us right away. I counted over ten large stink bugs. The front desk attendant said they come in through the vents for warmth and there was nothing they could do. Maybe it couldn't be fixed immediately, but they could have offered a refund or some compensation. We left after the bugs kept landing on us. Very disappointing, and we won't return.

We come with our grandchildren every winter to swim, and they're glad to hear the hotel is planning a remodel since the room was looking worn. The pool could've been warmer. The kids didn't mind, but it was too cold for grandma. Also, why get rid of the duck emblem? To our grandkids, Homewood Suites is the 'ducky house,' and that means family fun to them.

Our youth hockey team booked rooms through the tournament company in August 2025 for January 2026. On the morning we were arriving, after we'd been driving more than five hours, the hotel called to say we'd be moved to a property an hour away. They hadn't even told the tournament company, just began calling each family. They later acknowledged they were short on rooms because construction wasn't as far along as expected. Moving a traveling team on the day of arrival split everyone across different places and ruined the tournament trip. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

We'd stayed here for several years without trouble, but this winter there were stinkbugs all over the walls, large ones about an inch long. They smear when killed, and more kept appearing after we got rid of some. Staff told us that's just how it is and they're in every room. We weren't moved or compensated. The walls are thin too, so you can hear the neighbors. We can't recommend this place.
