Jeannie made us feel at home as soon as we walked in. She kept the place tidy, served a fresh breakfast, and made our stay comfortable and relaxing. We came to the Central Hotel for a restful weekend by the Missouri River, and both the hotel and town exceeded our expectations. It’s a bed and breakfast in a quiet, quaint little town, in a historic building that’s been impeccably restored, designed, and furnished. We really enjoyed discovering New Haven and the Central Hotel. Thank you!

The back porch has such a relaxing view that you won’t want to get up, and the Missouri River is just down the street, flowing past. Jeanne puts out a great breakfast spread. The Central Hotel feels like home, with carefully decorated, very clean rooms and all the comforts of home. Some rooms even have claw-foot tubs. It’s a five-diamond place, and I guarantee you’ll be back!

The room was sparkling clean, and the hostess was wonderfully welcoming. We loved every part of our stay, especially the beautiful back porch. Ask for a demonstration of the working antique Victrola in the foyer. Hermann and Washington are each just ten minutes away, and the drive to either is beautiful. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Jeanie was wonderful. She clearly loves her work and looking after guests. My wife loved the hotel so much she wants to redecorate our house to match it. As she put it, this place would do well in Dallas, where there’s plenty of competition. We highly recommend it to anyone in the area and will definitely stay again. We came for a couple of relaxing days while visiting my family nearby. I grew up in New Haven and knew the owners, so I expected them to do everything first class. The hotel lived up to that expectation.

Jeanne’s hospitality was second to none, and the included breakfast was wonderful. We loved the thoughtfully decorated room and its great claw-foot tub. We had a lovely stay a few days ago and will definitely return when we’re in the area.
