We all felt comfortable here, and it was quiet and peaceful. Check-in was easy, and they got back to us quickly whenever we had questions. I booked the room for the bride before her wedding, but my husband and I had such a lovely time that I might book it again for a little getaway of our own. Definitely recommend if you want a quiet night away.

The food was delicious, and the portions were more than I could finish. The owners were attentive while somehow letting everything feel relaxed and like home, as if they were working quietly in the background to make the place feel special. I was fascinated by the history of the property and the surrounding area. This was my first bed and breakfast, and the little touches really made it: towels folded up in the bathrooms, pillow sprays in the bedrooms, and such cute room setups. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, I didn’t want to leave. 100/10, would recommend for a weekend with your partner or the family. Can’t wait to come back!

The rooms are nicely decorated, which adds to how relaxing the place feels. It was quiet, and I got a comfortable night’s sleep. You’re close enough to visit Richmond or Williamsburg, but it’s nice not to have to stay in town.

I slept like a log on the mattress, and it was handy having a Keurig just outside my room. The owners were kind and helpful, and I loved staying in such a historic place. It’s a beautiful B&B between Richmond and Williamsburg, and during my stay the owner surprised me with a complimentary bottle of local wine. Cozy and affordable, and I’d absolutely come back.
