Holiday Inn Express & Suites New Martinsville by IHG

I’m here for work pretty often, and the women on staff are always so kind. This time Brandy checked me in. She’s new, but did a great job. The employee who makes breakfast always greets me with a smile, and I love starting the day with a freshly ground cup from the coffee machine. It’s a lovely hotel in a small town, with wonderful employees.

It costs a bit more than I’d expect for a small-town stay, though there’s only one major hotel competitor around. I was on a motorcycle trip, and they let us check out a couple of hours late at no extra charge so we could wait out a storm. The location is handy for some of the best motorcycle riding in eastern Ohio. I’ve stayed here several times for both work and recreation, and the rooms have always been clean and stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful. Brandy took care of our check-in, and breakfast was hot, with a clean area and enough food for the guests. Thanks, Karen.

Karen, who runs the kitchen, is happy to help with anything and keeps the food coming. Breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of variety for kids too. The rooms are nice and kept clean, and the staff were polite and very helpful. Had a great stay this weekend. Highly recommend.

Our daughter had her birthday while we were visiting, and the staff bought her balloons to make the day feel special. Thanks so much to Rose, Cara and Karen for making us feel at home while we were on vacation. We first asked locals where to stay when visiting friends, and this is the fancy hotel, which makes us chuckle. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and there’s enough room for us, our child and her best friend. The food here is quite different from home, so we like having breakfast at the hotel, where there are lots of choices and some familiar options. Everyone on staff has been friendly and caring.
