The Aloft has the downtown energy I want, with a modern style and lots of tech-friendly touches. We had a great time at the W XYZ bar in the lobby. The cocktails were good, and the live music made the weekend feel just right. Our room had a sleek look, a comfy platform bed, and a great walk-in shower. Loved the lively, social atmosphere.

We arrived before check-in and they got us into a room early. The location puts you close to everything, with good food options nearby and plenty available in the lobby. Bar staff were friendly, and Troy on valet was cool and hardworking. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and while there are no dressers or drawers, we had room to keep our suitcases out of the way. The TV was easy to use, and our two young daughters had fun in the pool on the last day. I’d recommend staying here and wouldn’t mind coming back. I’d been a little nervous after reading recent negative reviews, but we had a great experience.

We spent four days here during the second week of May as part of a class trip, and everyone at Aloft made the group feel welcome. Front desk, kitchen, bar, room service, and all the other staff were kind and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the location was great. I’d stay again and have recommended it to anyone who asked about our trip. Thanks so much to everyone at Aloft New Orleans!

The burgers, pizza, and lemon pepper wings were all delicious, and Tahj "TJ" was polite, friendly, and helpful. Kenyean made our time relaxing in the lobby so joyful, greeting us with a smile whenever we saw her. She’s very professional and really helped make our birthday and anniversary stay special. Malayala handled check-in professionally and made that a great experience too. The hotel has a fun, friendly atmosphere, and the staff were awesome. I celebrated my 54th birthday with my wife, who was celebrating three years cancer-free that day. It was a blessing to meet everyone. Thanks as well to general manager tyrin for greeting us and taking a group photo. We told them we’ll definitely be back because of the hospitality.

The location made it easy to get around the city, and the staff were friendly and helped us get what we needed. The valet crew was amazing, and we had a great view. But the room was hot and the lighting was awful, maybe 2 out of 10. There was just one lamp for the whole room, and it was hard to see even with my good eyesight. The shower sprayed everywhere except where it needed to, and the water didn’t drain properly, so we stood in shallow water for most of it. I wasn’t impressed overall. I’d rate it 3 out of 10 and probably wouldn’t stay again.
