Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Neville Island

The front desk team were incredibly kind and helpful, hard to beat. The rooms were okay, and renovations are underway. It’s a cool area, close to both the airport and downtown. I’d stay again.

I stayed four nights in room #310 in early October 2025. It was fine, though a little worn, and I didn’t hear any renovation noise. The fourth floor is being renovated, and the pool and gym have recently been redone and are now open. I like this hotel, especially for getting downtown easily. There’s a Sheetz convenience store just steps away with custom sandwiches, and the hotel includes a very nice breakfast. The staff are very friendly.

A very nice hotel for a work trip. I could walk to work, and Sheetz and Speedway are within walking distance too. I’ll stay here again.

It’s a standard Fairfield Inn room, with a fridge, microwave, medium-sized TV, and hairdryer. The convenient spot right across from the 24-hour Sheetz, near the highway and about 20 minutes from downtown, is another plus. What keeps bringing me back, though, is the customer service. The place went downhill some years ago, but I’m glad to see they’ve been working hard to turn things around. I think the assistant manager really knows her stuff and is very professional. This time I met the general manager, who I believe is fairly new, and I was impressed. He’s professional but also gives you a welcome-home feeling. With management like this, I can see the hotel getting better. It’s worth what I paid.
