The room looked nice and was clean, but there was a strong, musty sort of smell. The bed felt like a hammock and the sheets were really scratchy. We ended up driving the two hours home instead of staying the night. If the bed had been comfortable, I would've happily given the place five stars.

When our furnace quit in freezing weather, we had to leave home in the middle of the night. The team at the McCandless location took care of us and our animals, gave us a discount because of what had happened, and let us check out late. They were patient the next morning while we waited to find out if we needed another night. The room was clean and cozy, and their care made a stressful situation feel easier. I highly recommend this location!!

Will at the front desk was engaging and so helpful, easily the best part of the stay. The room itself was roomy and comfortable, but breakfast let us down. Choices were limited, the hot food was cold, and there weren't any gluten-free options. The stay felt mediocre otherwise.

Nina and the rest of the staff made my wedding weekend so memorable. They handled the room blocks and shuttle service with so much care, which made the whole weekend easy for us. I stayed from 11/28/2025 to 11/30/2025 for my wedding, and everyone was attentive and incredibly accommodating. I can't say enough about them.

The room had a sweaty, unclean smell, and the shower pressure was very weak. There were also little signs of wear, like chipped wood on the dresser and cracked bathroom tile. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, the fire outside was a nice touch, and the hotel itself looked pretty nice. It wasn't bad, but it fell short of the standard I've come to expect from Hilton hotels, where I stay whenever I can.
