We stayed five nights for a birthday trip with my sister, and the hotel was easy to get to and from the quarter. It’s near the French market and the start of the river trolley line. Our room was neat and clean. Housekeeping refreshed it and replenished supplies every other day, and despite being right across from the elevator and ice room, it was very well insulated and we heard nothing. Breakfast offered a good range of choices and changed a little from day to day. There’s also a free laundry area on site, which came in handy. The staff were courteous and accommodating throughout. Danielle and Q were especially fabulous, friendly, and fun to talk with, and they shared tips about local spots. I’d definitely recommend it.
Parking cost a bit, but the peace of mind felt worth it. Breakfast was good and had lots of variety. We came to NOLA specifically to view the trains, and the location was just right, with Frenchman st. barely a skip away and the French quarters a hop away. Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly. I wish I’d caught the front desk staff’s name because they were amazing. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and will be back.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the location was great, but what stood out most was the front desk service, especially Quatavius. He was kind, professional, and truly hospitable. From check-in through answering questions and making sure everything was in order, he made us feel welcome and valued. Customer service like his is rare, and he deserves recognition.
We stayed here for a festival and barely used our vehicle. The area was easy to walk around, had great food, and even street parking felt safe. I was already very pleased with the location, but about two weeks later I realized I’d left a sentimental item behind. Housekeeping turned it in, and Brandie was able to ship it to me. Thank you so much. 10/10, and I’ll definitely return. My only downside is that they don’t provide daily housekeeping.
The private balcony was everything for me. Each morning I took my book outside and sat there for a while. The room itself didn’t have much of a view, even from the top floor, but that little routine was perfect. We ended up in New Orleans on an impromptu romantic getaway after our Florida trip, and the Hampton had good reviews. The property is newer to the area, right on the edge of the French Quarter, and within easy walking distance of everything. I strolled around several times and felt comfortable. Breakfast starts at 6, and they take the complimentary hot spread seriously, with something for everyone. For parking, I’d choose the secured option. It may seem pricey, but I think it’s worth every penny for this area. Otherwise, you can park on the street. One thing the reviews didn’t mention was the train on the nearby track, which passes around 4 and 6 in the morning. It woke me the first night, though I got used to it after that. It might keep me from staying again.
