Hotel Peter and Paul, an Ash Hotel

A real haven, with great restaurants and bakeries an easy walk away. This is a beautiful, comfortable, and unusual hotel, and you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

Deanne made my visit feel personal and welcoming. She gave me a private tour of the Church space, walked me through the amenities, and was warm, professional, and attentive throughout. I'm already thinking about returning, and maybe trying other Ash properties too. The Loft Room was cozy, striking, and full of personality, more like a tucked-away retreat than a hotel room. The low, warm lighting, flowing curtains, and even the working rotary phone all felt carefully chosen. The whole property has layered design, character, and New Orleans charm. The bar had a relaxed but refined feel, with a beautiful atmosphere and excellent cocktails. Hotel Peter & Paul was a magical stay. If you want somewhere soulful and memorable in New Orleans, this is it.

We stayed in the Marigny, a few minutes' walk from the French Quarter, and loved the quieter neighborhood with its colorful houses, murals, and little bars and cafes. The hotel spans four buildings: the main hotel with an honor bar, a restaurant, bar, and coffee shop, the church, and another section with a small gift shop and more rooms. There was a market at the church during our weekend, with vendors selling beautifully made local crafts. Breakfast at the restaurant was really good, and the decor was stunning. Our server said they brought in multiple shipping containers of furniture from Europe, and everything was upholstered in plaid. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Kelly and Jazz at the front desk were welcoming, kind, and helpful. The cleanliness, comfort, atmosphere, and location all exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to return.

Getting a tour of the cathedral was the highlight of my trip. The gentleman explained everything so well. I think his name was Darius? Parking was a big plus, and check-in was quick and easy. We walked to the French market and took the trolley around. The hotel's decoration is stunning, and I loved all the little details. I'll definitely be back soon!
