The room at **Marsh Hotel** was clean, comfortable, and nicely arranged, just what I wanted after a day around the city. The Mardi Gras parade routes were an easy walk away, so getting there and back was simple without traffic or rideshares. Everything went smoothly, and I'd happily book here again on another New Orleans trip.

Joseph and Blue were welcoming, friendly, and knew the area well, and the staff overall was amazing. This lovely boutique hotel sits in a quiet neighborhood close to bars, restaurants, and shopping on St. Charles Ave. and Magazine St., with easy streetcar access. The lobby has a coffee shop and full bar, and there's a charming courtyard to relax in. Our room had very little storage, which is why I took off a star, but we managed and were comfortable. We'll stay here again! ☺️

Joseph and Blue made great hosts, whether they were serving coffee or cocktails, and it was fun to meet some locals. We liked having a pleasant outdoor space, too. The rooms are on the small side, but ours was clean, comfortable, and had what we needed. The Marsh is well placed for walking or catching the streetcar to some of our favorite spots. We'll definitely return.

The hotel's lobby made a nice lounge, with a bar serving alcohol, coffee, and light snacks, and we enjoyed the outdoor patio in the beautiful fall weather. The staff helped us a lot while we were planning our girls' trip, and they were a delight to deal with during the stay. The rooms are small, but they were clean enough to make up for the limited space. There are three floors and no elevator, so anyone with mobility issues should choose the ground floor. The closest streetcar stop is 0.3 miles away. The #12 to the French Quarter comes every 15-20 minutes, and the ride takes 30-35 minutes with all the stops, so plan ahead. We often found that streetcar ride wasn't much longer than waiting for a rideshare and getting dropped off. I'd highly recommend this hotel to friends visiting this beautiful, friendly city.

Check-in happens at the bar and coffee shop in this charming little boutique hotel, which has 24 rooms. The staff were excellent, and there are a few spots to relax, work, or hang out, plus a small library room. We could hear our neighbor talking from our room, but it wasn't a big deal. It's walkable to the street car stop and Magazine. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.
