The room had a microwave in a fridge, which was a plus for storing all the good food I was eating. I requested a non-smoking room and was pleasantly surprised by the new, modern-looking upholstery. The bed cover design was awful, but the bathroom was a regular hotel bathroom. The blinds didn’t close all the way, and the walls were definitely thin. It looks sketchy outside, but the inside was unexpected, and it’s a nice, clean, inexpensive place to stay. I didn’t want anybody to find out about this hidden gem. If you just need somewhere low-key to close your eyes for a few hours and aren’t high maintenance, it does the job. Don’t expect shower shampoo or conditioner, though, just a basic bar of soap. This will be my go-to place in the NO.

The price is hard to beat, and I was surprised to find a mini refrigerator and microwave in the room. It was clean and cozy, the area was very quiet, and it’s close to the interstate. You can walk to a local fast restaurant and Wal-Mart. I enjoyed my stay.

After driving 10 hours with a load, we arrived when only a couple of places were still open. The owner David called somewhere nearby and arranged for us to pick up pizza, then even let us use his personal vehicle to get it. The customer service was AMAZING, way beyond what I expected. We slept great too. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. Great stay, highly recommend, and I’d definitely come back if we’re passing through.

We enjoyed our stay over Memorial weekend. It wasn’t crowded, and the rooms were newly remodeled. They’re a little small for some, but they were safe, clean, and efficient, with good water pressure and hot water that was better than at most pricier places. Check the map before booking to see if the location suits you. It may not be for everyone.

The employees were very nice, and the bed I used was really comfortable. The other bed wasn’t as good. When I inspected the room, I had to ask them to clean the bathroom and put fresh sheets on the beds. Someone had also taken the bulbs from the wall lights, but a gentleman came in, replaced them, and fixed the switch.
