The room was clean, and the service was great. Staff were really nice and checked me in early without any trouble. Loved staying here!

Really nice, clean place in an unbeatable location. The hosts were incredibly responsive, and I'd definitely stay again.

Great room and no bugs, but it was noisy around there. My entry code failed, and the staff gave me a replacement. The phone staff couldn't help, and this place badly needs someone onsite full time.

The room smelled of mildew, and even with the AC set to 69ºF the humidity reached 87%. I was uncomfortable and worried about the mold and mildew. My allergies went haywire throughout the stay despite taking a pretty aggressive combination of allergy medicine. That reaction made me think the amount in the room could be hazardous. I also didn't feel safe here as a woman traveling alone. There was hardly any staff, and it was difficult to reach anyone. I called twice at 5pm the day before my stay to confirm the reservation and left a voicemail. At 1:30am I got a notice that it had been cancelled for “nonpayment.” My card hadn't been charged, which I confirmed with my bank. After a back and forth with customer service over text, I booked again at a higher rate using the exact same card, and it worked. I had booked directly through the website both times. They also waive the $25 early check in fee for a Google review, so a lot of reviews may not be genuine or may have been posted before a stay. The entry codes were another problem. The lobby code changes daily for “security,” but on check in day it's the same as the room code, so someone could follow you in and learn how to enter your room. They don't notify you when the code changes, and getting a new one from staff is nearly impossible. I went out to collect a food delivery, and the only staff member I'd seen, apart from housekeeping, watched me leave and then wouldn't let me back in because I “didn't have a working code.” I had to wait outside and ask for a new one until she eventually let me in. It's odd that guests have to ask for a fresh code each day when they could send it automatically. While I was in the shower, someone entered my room using a code. There was no knock or warning, and the privacy thumbturn on the door didn't stop them. My room door also had no camera facing it. I asked what had happened and followed up, but got no reply. They should know why someone used a master code to enter while I was showering. The studio layout only really works if you're alone or don't mind someone sharing the room seeing you in the shower. There was no practical place to hang dresses or suits, since the “clothing rack” barely fit folded pants. The room was poorly equipped: one roll of toilet paper wasn't enough for several days, the remote batteries were dead, and the TV was unplugged, which made me doubt anyone checked things between stays. Anyone on the Wi-Fi could cast to any TV in any room, which shouldn't be allowed. I was told the restock cart by the vending machine had toilet paper, but I walked past every day, even though I wake up early, and never saw anything replenished. It looked the same the whole time. The comforter was stained and dirty, though the sheets seemed clean, and the pillows were cheap and old. The laundry room smelled of mildew too, and the dryers were missing their lint vents. That added to my concerns about safety.

We stayed in room 409, and there were roaches everywhere. They could hitch a ride home and infest your place forever. They didn't move us to another room, just offered to spray the rooms where we had to sleep at 10pm. I'm waiting for a refund that still needs approval. The place was dirty and infested. The beds were foam and sagged toward the middle, and the AC barely worked. It looked cute and impressive, but those roaches!
