We’d been looking forward to coming for a bachelorette/bachelor party, but after traveling all day we just wanted a shower and got freezing cold water instead. The company said the city was working on the issue. A few of us painfully took cold showers, and when the water was still cold the next morning, we contacted Airbnb after the company stopped responding. Luckily we got a refund, but had to scramble to find another place. We talked with other people in the building who were leaving too because there was no hot water. This company should be ashamed.

The AirBnb was really clean and nice, with a comfortable bed, great water pressure, and a balcony I loved. The location was perfect, just steps from Bourbon St. No complaints at all!

The location is great, but the place had so many problems. The shower had no pressure at all, and neither did the only bathroom sink. It was very warm, but we were told not to touch the four window AC units. They all needed cleaning, and some showed an alert saying filter assistance was needed, which was disgusting. I booked a suite after seeing photos of a fourth floor place with a balcony, but ours had no openings at all and no balcony, after walking up four flights of stairs. Some ceiling fans wouldn’t turn on with the remotes, and one remote didn’t even have batteries. An arm on one bedroom couch was already broken and close to coming off. There were no extra blankets for extra sleeping spots like the couch, though we brought one, so that was fine. The bathroom floor needs attention, and the glass door scrapes. It doesn’t sit right, so I’m worried it’ll shatter one day. There weren’t any extra trash bags either. After I left an Airbnb review, the company said the shower wasn’t an issue at all, which was a lie, and blamed me for breaking the couch arm that was already broken. They also claimed I’d gotten a huge discount. $400.00 is a discount for this place? Wow. The customer service was terrible. Don’t stay here.

My wife and I were in bed trying to nap around 4:30 PM when an old man named “Rubio” suddenly showed up in our bedroom doorway. He hadn’t knocked or announced himself, he just walked in and said he was there to “change batteries.” The host hasn’t responded at all when I tried to bring it up. If you care about your safety and don’t want a stranger coming into your room while you’re half-naked in bed with your spouse, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Travelers beware!
