The staff's response to a few unexpected problems made a big difference. Heavy rain over Memorial Day weekend caused some flooding that affected our room. Josh addressed it promptly and went above and beyond to help adjust the room billing, which we appreciated. Nicholas also sorted out a small streaming service issue quickly and without hassle. The valet team was excellent from start to finish. We arrived extremely early and didn't expect the room to be ready, but Fine let us know within five minutes that it was. Isiah, Jermani, and Ken were especially great, friendly, professional, and consistently helpful. Their service made the stay more enjoyable. I'd done a lot of research before booking at Virgin Hotel New Orleans to make sure it would be a good experience and value, and the staff really made the difference. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room had lovely French decor, and the staff were courteous and professional. My only window looked straight at a brick wall, though. Valet was quick and friendly, and my car stayed in a covered garage for $55 per day. The coffee bar barisitta was also incredibly kind and made excellent dirty matcha lattes. Virgin is an international upscale chain, but charging extra every day for basics like the gym and pool gave it a MOTEL 6 feel. I’ve stayed at both upscale and mid-range chains and have never been charged separately for basic amenities.

Ryan, Chris, and Isaac made a big difference during our stay. They were consistently warm and helpful, whether answering questions, sharing recommendations, or just stopping for a friendly chat. You can feel the strong guest focused culture in those interactions. My wife and I visited in April during French Quarter Festival, and the hotel was a great base for enjoying the city's music and energy, with a relaxing place to return to. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and we liked the thoughtful design and cool atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the whole experience felt welcoming. We’d happily stay here again and recommend it to people visiting New Orleans.

The staff took my safety seriously, and I appreciated that they didn’t question me. I was in the ladies changing room by the pool when a creepy man came in and watched me. I told the bartender right away, and the man was escorted off the premises immediately. It showed me they care about their guests. The room was fun and thoughtfully laid out. First there was a dressing area with closets, a sink, and a vanity, then separate spaces for the toilet and shower. The shower had both a handheld and a rain head. Two large doors opened into the bedroom, where my companion especially liked sitting on the window banquette. The SMEG minibar fridge was clever, and having an electric kettle in the room worked perfectly for us. We spent a long weekend here, and everyone we met was kind and helpful. It’s close enough to walk to the French Quarter, but far enough away to get some peace and quiet. I highly recommend it in New Orleans.
