Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta NE Gwinnett Sugarloaf

The two-room suite was spacious and lovely, and from the window I could see a beautiful lake and lights outside at night. I was unsure about staying somewhere pets are allowed, but I’m glad I gave it a chance. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated for Christmas, and surrounded by restaurants and convenient places. Housekeeping was busy but still cleaned my room and offered water and anything else I might need. The staff were extremely friendly, and the bartender was great. I think her name was Sarah, though I’m not completely sure. My chicken quesadilla came out hot and fresh, and breakfast was very good. I’ll try the wings next time. Ross greeted me on my way out and asked about my stay. When I said I couldn’t get my coffee maker to work, he kindly got me coffee to go from the snack store, which I appreciated for the drive. I’d definitely stay here again.

We celebrated a birthday here and had a great family stay. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are so friendly, and the kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Breakfast was delicious, with a nice variety of foods to choose from. We’ll definitely be back soon.

At Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta NE Gwinnett Sugarloaf, the bartenders Sierra and Amy made the bar one of the highlights of my stay. Sierra welcomed me with upbeat energy, gave quick recommendations, and was attentive without hovering. She clearly knows her craft, and every drink was spot on, balanced and smooth, with a genuine smile. Amy was just as good. Even when the bar got busy, she stayed calm, friendly, and professional, remembered what people were drinking, and kept conversation going. She made everyone feel like a regular. It’s clear she cares about giving guests a great experience. I’ll be back because of them. If you’re at Embassy Suites in Duluth, GA, grab a drink with them. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m pregnant and had to leave my room to get breakfast, after my husband was told he couldn’t bring ours back. I’ve never run into that rule at any other Embassy Suites, and it struck me as really odd. Two Latina women at the front desk pointed out signs around the hotel asking guests not to take food to their rooms. We hadn’t been told at check in, and not everyone will notice the signs. I asked them to pass along how disappointed I was to the manager. I’m paying to enjoy my room, and this policy left a bad taste in my mouth and lowered my view of the Embassy Suites standard.
