Travelodge by Wyndham New Philadelphia

The location worked great for us, and the staff were helpful. The room we were given had a door lock that didn't work, so we had to move. The second room was up a set of filthy stairs, and there was food left on the floor from previous tenants. Both rooms were unclean and smelled unpleasant.

Lots of restaurants are within walking distance, including Denny's and Starbucks, and Walnut Creek is nearby. The price was good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the room. It smelled nice, the floor and beds were clean, and there was a nice fridge in each room. The tub and bathroom were a little run down, though not terrible. It's not going to be perfect, but the staff were friendly at check-in and I'll stay here again.

We stayed for two weeks while waiting for our home to be ready. It's nothing fancy, but the place was clean and everyone was so nice and friendly. There's a small breakfast, and nearby restaurants are another option if you don't want it. They love dogs, and my dog enjoyed the stay too!

They have nice rooms, but if you're running late, they may give yours away. That happened to my sister and me, and they put us in an upstairs room that felt like a flea trap, then charged us for it. Make sure you have a solid reservation. They have the gall to charge for that room. Trust me, it's a fact.
