The bed was the biggest problem for me. It was so soft and unsupportive that I was awake all night with a lot of back pain. The comforter felt too light, the shower mat was stained, and the heater made a rolling noise that might have bothered me more if I’d been asleep. We could smell weed in the hallway from another room, though thankfully not inside ours. The hotel itself looked nice and was clean, and the staff were kind. I appreciated being allowed to cancel the rest of my stay without a charge because the bed didn’t work for me. Breakfast was impressive, and the large luggage carts were really useful. Our room was quiet, with no noise from inside or outside the hotel. We were on the third floor, facing away from the street. The downtown location is handy, with restaurants and bodegas within walking distance. We had dinner at Townehouse, which was very pricy but exceptional. Parking is valet garage parking for $25/day. The garage is right next door and convenient.

The staff were so friendly and did more than expected to make our stay a good one. Our room was clean and cozy, and the amenities added to the trip. I can’t wait to come back. The place exceeded my expectations!

The manager was the worst part of the stay. There was a miscommunication I won’t get into, but when she came over to help the really nice, helpful woman at the front desk, she didn’t even speak to me. She just stared blankly, looked at the computer, and handed me my keys without a word. She seemed bothered and rude, and didn’t seem suited to any customer-facing job. The hotel itself is fine: clean and modern, with a nice gym that has just enough, and a similar amount on offer at breakfast and in the dining area. It’s a solid choice. Even the parking situation, which is called valet but means walking to the underground garage in the adjoining building, wasn’t as off-putting as the manager.

We were there for Iona's graduation. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, but the free continental breakfast was the best part. It got our day off to a good start.
