Hotel NoMa, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I stayed here on SuperBowl night, and I’ve been before. The great service, staff, clean surroundings, and perfect location made the experience even better. No complaints, 10/10 would recommend.

They were kind enough to work around my toddler’s nap schedule with the check-in and check-out times, which mattered most to me. The room was quiet, and the bathroom was clean with excellent water pressure. The hinges on the door had that slightly “landlord special” look, with paint over them. When I called ahead with a few questions, the front desk staff were courteous and knew their stuff. I also got a much better rate booking directly with them than through a 3rd party, so I’d compare prices. The on-site restaurant is tasty and convenient. Noise from the restaurant/lounge, which many reviewers mention, wasn’t an issue during the week because it closes at 10pm. There’s ample parking around the building too.

The location in the heart of New Rochelle, NY, near the colleges and local places to eat, made this a cozy home for our Thanksgiving visit. We stayed with my parents from Tuesday November 25th 2025 to Friday November 28th 2025. This used to be a radison Hotel, then changed names while keeping some of the same staff. The room was clean and ready when we arrived, with two comfortable beds, plenty of towels, shampoo and conditioner, a fridge, and great wifi. We liked the tv too, and watched the parade on Thanksgiving morning. The bathroom was a little small and hard to move around in, and we had to figure out how to turn on the shower, though my parents helped. There wasn’t a bathroom fan. I find those loud and annoying, so I liked that, but people who get too hot after a shower or need to clear things out might find a fan useful. The staff were friendly at check-in and throughout, and checkout was easy and pleasant. Parking was easy too, with a big lot. The hotel has a seasonal pool and fitness center. Breakfast is made to order at No Ma Social, where there are also happy hour drinks and food. At check-in we got a keychain for a percentage off select menu items. If you’re in the mood for pancakes and they’re on the menu, you can get them. I especially recommend the food and drinks in the lobby restaurant, where bartender Domique was one of the pleasant staff members. I’ll write a separate review about that, but highly recommend the hotel. It was comfortable for a few nights.

The room itself was fine, but they still haven’t released the money they put on hold at check-in. I only noticed when I checked my credit card statement, and there hadn’t been any incidents. It feels like they just kept it hoping I wouldn’t notice. There’s no direct way to email them about it either. Besides being inconvenient, it raises questions about their business ethics.
