The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stocked with what we needed, even if they’re a little dated. The pools were nice, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It’s well located and easy to walk to Flagler. We really enjoyed staying here and would come back.

I booked a two-bedroom, two-bath suite at Coconut Palms Beach Resort II for my sister’s wedding, expecting a beachside resort. Instead, they said they owned five properties and put us three hotels down at Royal Palms, which felt like a walk-up motel. The lobby was run down, with a bad paint job and little sign of care, and the room smelled musty. There was gum in a wrapper on the bedside table, makeup on the bathroom cabinets, stains on the kitchen counters, and visibly dirty furniture. The counters were dilapidated and the drain didn’t work properly. It felt like The Florida Project. I stayed two nights for the wedding, then left early Sunday rather than spend the full weekend there. They also charge $10 a night for parking. Avoid this if you’re hoping for even a somewhat nice stay.

The front desk staff were super nice, and I had a great time overall. The room was nice, and the location is perfect, right on the beach with a private beach, cabanas, and a place to grill. A few usual amenities weren’t provided: you had to ask the front desk for ice or a trash bag. Still, that won’t keep me from coming back.

I’ve stayed here about 15 times and it’s always been a good experience. The staff are consistently great and helpful, and the pools and setting are nice. It’s also easy to walk around Flagler from here.
