Ebb Tide 404 Apartment 2

The unit itself is beautiful and everything feels high quality. But for five people staying two nights, leaving just one roll of toilet paper was ridiculous. I’ve always found an extra roll in the bathroom elsewhere. Management really needs to do better. Bring your own.

The decor in Ebb Tide #203 was lovely, and the condo had plenty of equipment. The second bedroom mattress was worn out so badly that I could feel its springs. The pet rules were the bigger concern for me. I’d been told it was pet friendly, but signs around most of the green areas prohibited pets. I saw people walking dogs on the embankment just outside the pool gates, and when I took mine there, a maintenance worker said it wasn’t allowed. He said children play on that space, though the wall drops about 10-12 feet, which would worry me. I was told to take my pet outside the complex and walk along the very busy road. I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing that at night. I contacted Great Ocean Condominiums. They said they don’t set the complex rules. I told them they should have mentioned this, since I would have rented somewhere else if I’d known. Today, the same management company claimed the restriction was in the Rules and Guidelines. I checked, and it isn’t written there anywhere.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were beautiful, and the ocean views were just gorgeous!

Our room was nicely updated, and the place itself was beautiful to stay in.
