The Riverview Hotel

This was our second stay at the Riverview Hotel, and we loved it so much. Every room has its own pretty decor, and the chandeliers through the hallways are a real wow. Breakfast at the Mermaid Restaurant next door was included and delicious. We also stopped in for a night cap at their Riverview Restaurant. Daniel was a fantastic singer and even played the Saxophone. The place was packed, and the food looked amazing. Thanks for a lovely stay and the great hospitality from the Morning Staff. We’ll be back!

This was my second visit, and I enjoyed the hotel again. From arrival, the front desk attendant was pleasant, gracious, and professional, and the welcome felt warm and sincere. The guest room was cozy and inviting, thoughtfully arranged despite the property’s age. It dates back to around 1885, which gives it a certain dignity and charm, though a few modern touches would help. I’d have liked a microwave and mini refrigerator in the room, so I wouldn’t have to leave to get ice or heat up a late-night indulgence. The bathroom was stylish and well done, and a bathtub option would be nice for guests who want a long soak. I’ll gladly return. With a few thoughtful updates, this characterful, comfortable historic hotel could connect its past and present even better.

Absolutely stunning hotel in a wonderful spot, with everything in walking distance. Some bars are at a good fluctuate distance… you never know 🤭. Breakfast by the pool was great, and there’s a nice Bar and grill on the river side.

We loved our stay at Riverview Resort. The coastal feel is relaxing, and being right in the middle of this beach town made getting around easy. The rooms are clean, there’s a pool, boutique and spa, and the team is friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
