Wingate By Wyndham Pittsburgh/New Stanton

My earlier post came from wandering fingers. This place deserves 5 stars: it’s very clean and quiet, and the staff interactions are great.

The kids really enjoyed breakfast, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were friendly too. We asked for a late checkout, but it wasn’t approved, which was the one downside.

Stacey C., the general manager at the front desk, was incredibly kind and gave me a lot of support during one of the most overwhelming moments in my life. She handled all my requests with care, kindness, and love, and I’m very grateful to her. The hotel itself felt safe and modern, with spotless, spacious rooms. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, including McDonald’s and Taco Bell, and a sidewalk right outside makes it easy to walk around the neighborhood. The doors lock after midnight, and the desk clerk stayed alert to suspicious people or activity, which helped us feel secure. Breakfast was delicious and well stocked, with waffles, eggs, sausages, bread, corn flakes, milk, and more. I had an excellent stay at Wingate by Wyndham – New Stanton and would recommend it to people visiting the area.

The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the hotel was quiet enough for a great night’s sleep. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. Nice touches included a refrigerator, microwave, chair with an ottoman, and desk. The TV is small and older, so it could use an upgrade.
