The rooms were clean, but only okay. Breakfast was very low quality, and it would have been better to offer cold items or nothing at all. Housekeepers were still working as we checked in, with their carts blocking the ends of the hallways. It felt like almost nobody on staff had basic common sense. The woman at check-in couldn't get our keys working. Instead of fixing the machine or calling someone, she suggested we leave the doors open when we went out. I'm pretty sure she was baked the whole time. The next day, another woman had the same key problem but solved it quickly by unplugging and reconnecting the machine. I'm not staying here again.

Our tent broke in a storm, so we stayed here instead, and the room felt so cozy. It was clean, the staff were super friendly, and we loved the historical photos around the place. Breakfast had a smaller selection, but it was delicious. We'd definitely come back.

We spent a week here fishing the lake and liked how close it was. The grounds were quiet, the rooms clean, and the staff helpful. Kim especially went above and beyond for everyone. Breakfast was limited, but free.

The location works well for us, but after several past stays, this last visit was easily the worst. The breakfast was the worst motel breakfast I've had, with cold meat and eggs. When we returned in the late afternoon, our room hadn't been cleaned, the towels hadn't been replaced, and the garbage hadn't been emptied. Staff told me we had to request cleaning at check-in. The TV wasn't working properly and nobody was available to fix it. The air conditioner only worked on high, and again there was no one to fix it. We'll stay somewhere else next time.
