7 Oaks Lodging

When a fire left my son and me without a place to stay, Seven Oaks Lodging gave us somewhere safe that felt like home. The unit had a full kitchen and bathroom, plus the essentials we needed. I’m so grateful to the manager, owners, and housekeeping for all their help and kindness while we were going through a rough time. I’d stay here again if I ever needed to.

I was here for a few months and had a good stay. It was quiet, the rooms were clean, and most of all, there were no bugs. I’d recommend it if you need somewhere to stay.

The room itself is okay, but there isn’t enough space for a family or much storage. The wall rack they call a closet looks more like a towel rack, and you’re apparently not meant to leave clothes anywhere else, not even on the bed. The WiFi is bad, and cold air gets in easily. The air conditioner had mold when we moved in. They’re supposed to clean weekly, but nobody has checked on me in four months. Sometimes I can’t get anyone to answer when I need towels or toilet paper. The cleaning staff have walked in while I was asleep, yelling as they came in. I called to ask what they wanted me to clean because they had an issue with my room. I was polite and respectful, but the woman on the phone yelled at me over a misunderstanding and got so aggressive that I no longer feel very safe staying here. I’ve never been treated so unprofessionally by a company.

Karen and her family and team at 7Oaks are wonderful, and I really appreciate them. The little cabins are comfortable and convenient, with everything you need. Management is second to none, and service is quick and courteous. They’ve also just upgraded the Internet, which matters for work and personal tasks. I’m staying here as I write this, and I’d recommend this professional, welcoming getaway for a business trip or personal stay.
