Four Points by Sheraton Flushing

I've stayed here several times and wanted to share both the good and the frustrating parts. The rooms are nice and spacious. Cleaning has sometimes been below the bare minimum, with visible dust on the side tables and hair in the bathroom sinks and showers, though it hasn't happened every stay. I know things can get missed, so we've cleaned it ourselves without making a fuss. The main problem is a gentleman who's usually at the front desk whenever we visit. He seems not to want to be there, and has an attitude when we check in, ask for things, and check out. I used to work in retail and know how draining customers can be. My wife and I make a point of being extra nice to workers because of our past jobs, so it bothers us when she comes back saying he was rude over basic requests. I've seen it myself too. This has happened over four stays, not just once or twice. The place is extremely well put together, and I hate that one employee keeps spoiling good experiences. If things don't change, next time we'll make a formal complaint in person. The front desk makes a difference to a stay. Do better.

Hi! I had a great stay at your hotel in Flushing NY a few weeks ago. The place was beautiful and the customer service excellent. The scent in the lobby and elevators smelled amazing and really stood out. Could you tell me its name or brand? I know Marriott sells its own scents, so I wondered if it might be one of those. We found street parking around the hotel, although valet parking is also available. Four Points Flushing is about 10 minutes from LGA and a block from Northern Blvd / downtown Flushing. Our group of four stayed four days. The hotel is new, with a nice lobby, fitness center, small pool, and restaurant downstairs. The room was nicely appointed. Breakfast wasn't included, but complimentary coffee and tea were available. A nice option for a stay in Flushing.

Lots of food options nearby, and the subway is about a seven-minute walk away. The hotel is very clean, the staff were great and helpful, and the free shuttle to and from LaGuardia Airport was a real plus. I had a great stay and will definitely return when I'm in New York.
