3 West Club

Mark made us feel at home, chatting about the city and giving my first-time-visiting boyfriend some pointers. We loved the staff. The hotel is tucked off a less crowded street, so it feels fairly quiet despite being right in midtown. St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Rockefeller Plaza are about a block away, and lots of Manhattan sights are walkable. The address is marked outside, but there’s no hotel sign, so it was tricky to spot. The closest subway entrance was closed during our visit, and the nearest open one took a bit of a walk, though it's still pretty close. Our older room was clean, with fresh towels and bath essentials, and it seemed to get room service each day. We could see the cathedral from the room, and it was a good size, maybe bigger than the usual NYC room. The building is old, like many in NYC, and you can feel it, but that didn't bother us. Renovations were underway, which might annoy some guests, but we were out most of the day and it was fine. For Manhattan, the price felt somewhat affordable, and worth it to me, even if it isn't super budget friendly.

The all-in-one setup at 3 West Club gave us real peace of mind. We were planning our daughter's wedding from Orlando, Florida, and having everything under one roof meant we could enjoy the day instead of juggling vendors. From the time our guests arrived, they were enchanted. The ceremony in the Grand Salon felt elegant, intimate, and just right. Moving into cocktail hour was seamless, and the Solarium reception had lovely appetizers, well-made cocktails, and breathtaking views of St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center. People kept talking about that backdrop. For dinner and the reception, the Grand Ballroom was spacious but still intimate, elegant without feeling stuffy, and better than we'd expected. Marc and his team made the planning process feel easy and stress-free from afar. Marc was patient and knowledgeable, guided us through decisions, and anticipated things we hadn't thought of. Richard, the banquet captain, was wonderful on the wedding day. He noticed every detail, made sure the guestbook was collected, and packed leftovers for the newlyweds. He kept everything running smoothly while staying warm and personable. Marc, Richard, and the whole team made the day everything we'd hoped for and more. Our family will treasure those memories. My parents have stayed at this lovely hotel for years, and I’ve followed their lead. This last trip, Irene at the front desk made it especially memorable. She was friendly, professional, and so helpful, and her suggestions and guidance made a real difference to my visit. The midtown spot near Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick’s Cathedral is perfect, and the cathedral alone is worth a trip to NYC.

Guests were blown away by the decor and views, and several said it was the best wedding they'd been to. My daughter got married at 3 West Club in June of 2025, and the venue's unique feel made it special. Marc was great to work with, and all the staff did a wonderful job.
