Artezen Hotel

The rooms were a decent size, the shower was great, and we got Fiji water each day along with tea and coffee to start the morning. The rooftop bar was good, and the lifts take you up in seconds. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a bite, and we felt safe walking around. We'll stay again when we're back in NYC. The location is brilliant: you can walk to most places downtown, and the subway is right at the end of the street for everywhere else, including JFK Airport. Staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Brenda and Jesse. Well done, guys, keep up the good work 👏

The room wasn't huge, but it was a good size for New York, with a big shower and bathroom and enough space for us to spread out. The bed was very comfortable. Even though we had a street-facing room, it stayed fairly quiet, which mattered because my boyfriend was running the marathon. We didn't hear the rooftop bar either. I used the clean gym twice, and liked that it has a separate little yoga room for some quiet and privacy when someone else is using the machines. Key-card elevators and a staff member by the lobby door also helped us feel safe. We didn't notice any hidden fees. We'd been searching for a while for a hotel that suited us for the New York Marathon, and we were really pleased with our booking at The Artezen. We checked out two weeks ago, and I'm writing now because we had such a positive stay. The staff were consistently upbeat and helpful. We like walking and taking the subway, and Fulton station is very close, with plenty of food options a short walk away. If you need a car or Uber, the street isn't too busy by day or night, so it's easy to arrange. We'd certainly book here again.

During our three-night stay, my wife and I were completely happy with the location and service. Subway, Wall Street, the World Trade Center, the 9/11 Memorial, Brooklyn Bridge, Liberty Bagels, Apollo Bagels and plenty more were close by. We appreciated the welcome snacks and the complimentary water and coffee as well. The staff and service were excellent. For photos of the Charging Bull and the Fearless Girl without the crowds, morning around 8 or 9 a.m. is a good time.

The only thing that would've made our five-night stay perfect was a microwave, but I really have no complaints. The place was clean, modern, and easy, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The Fulton St subway is right across the street, so the location is perfect. I loved staying here and will definitely return. Highly recommend it.
