Getting around was easy from Hilton Club The Central at 5th. We were a 3-minute walk from the train, including the orange line’s F train, within walking distance of Times Square and 5th Ave shopping, and a 12-minute walk from the Lunt-Fontanne Theater. David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center was about a 15-minute drive away, so it worked well for our plans. The room size was a welcome surprise after staying in plenty of NYC hotels where rooms are often small. It was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping brought my wife a toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouthwash soon after we called because she’d forgotten her toothbrush. The staff were friendly throughout, and with our 10AM checkout they also held our bags while we ran a few errands. I plan to stay here again.

We got here after checking out of another hotel at 10 am, and they had a room ready for us early. That meant we didn’t have to haul our bags around all day, which worked out great. The room was clean and everything functioned as it should. Staff were super friendly, and I’ve got no complaints. It’s a bit pricey, but the location and condition made it worthwhile. I’d recommend staying here.

The people were very nice and accommodating, and the rooms were clean, quiet, and pleasant. For a place to sleep in a great location, it’s hard to beat. But the timeshare sales program was a bit obnoxious, and there’s little else on offer: the fitness center is well below average, seating and lounge space are almost nonexistent, and there are no food or drink options onsite. That lack of amenities keeps this from being a five for me.

The bathroom’s heated floor was a lifesaver during my visit, when the city was below zero. The room was a good size for two, and the lobby looked beautiful. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. The location was just right, steps from the Diamond District, 5th Ave shopping, and Times Square.
