I stayed for two nights in NYC in February 2026 and had a comfortable stay. This property is fairly well managed, maintained, and up to date, with amenities as described and convenient to use. It’s often affordable for the area and easy to get to Penn Station and nearby businesses. There’s a bar on the premises for afternoon happy hours, though there are plenty of other options around town. Marriott hotels are often associated with lower-cost rooms, but there’s no such thing as cheap in NYC. Rates can reach $800 a night, depending on when you book, and UN weeks are especially outrageous. I’d stay here again if the price made sense. Bathroom amenities are limited, so bring body lotion if you normally travel with it.

The rooms were clean and well kept, and the service was great. When we visited the bar, Teghan made my wife and me feel welcome and included. It’s a great place to stay if you’re arriving by train or want to reach Manhattan’s main tourist spots and food. The hotel is close to everything.

Service was decent, with no complaints, though nothing especially memorable either. The rooms were clean and comfortable, just what we needed for a city trip. The big draw is the location near Penn Station, right in the middle of everything. For a convenient, dependable stay in that area, this is a good choice.

The location was the best part, and the staff were nice during the first night, which was at a decent rate. When the blizzard left me stranded in NYC and I had to stay another night, the attitude changed. The staff were rude, and they tried to charge almost three times the original rate. I left for a nearby Hilton, where everything was wonderful. This has made me rethink staying at Marriott hotels in the future.

The rooftop bar and its views were a lovely surprise, with a cozy spot to relax over a drink. We also hadn’t expected breakfast, and the buffet was much better than most free hotel breakfasts, with lots of choices. The hotel is right across from Penn Station, with a subway entrance just steps away. Our King Suite was large for NYC, clean, updated, and had comfortable beds. It worked well for two adults and two teens, and cost about half what other suites nearby did. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in town.
