Hampton Inn Cincinnati Airport - North

Breakfast was great, especially the chocolate and malted vanilla waffles. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are nice. It's handy if you have an early flight and want to be near the airport. The one downside is food nearby, since there isn't really anything within walking distance.

The location was okay, around 15 minutes from Covington, though the immediate area felt pretty desolate. I was also charged $15 more than the amount in my Hilton app, and when I contacted them, they said they knew nothing about the extra charge. Breakfast varied over the three days: no breakfast potatoes any morning, salty ham and watery egg patty on one, sausage patties with watery eggs on the second, then cut-up sausage and an egg omelet on the third, which was okay. The bed was so uncomfortable I woke with a sore neck and back every night and couldn't sleep properly. The toilet flush was loud enough that I could hear the neighbors' toilet.

The desk service was great, though I wish I could remember the lady's name. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the area felt clean and safe. It's five minutes from the airport.

This Hampton Inn works really well if you're flying out of CVG. They have airport shuttles, but make sure you set a pickup time when you check in. You can leave your car there while you're away for a limited period, so check how long that is before booking.
