The location was the best part, and the staff were genuinely pleasant and helpful. My room needed a refurb and wasn’t very clean. For the price, I can’t complain too much, but I wouldn’t come back unless things change.

The room was comfortable, though a little small, which made sense for the price and the location. Breakfast had a nice continental spread, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. It’s a handy spot for Wall Street Plaza and the surrounding area. I’d book again through booking.com, especially if I booked early enough to get a lower price.

The front desk staff are really nice and always greet you coming in. One older gentleman seemed a bit grumpy, but everyone else was great. The breakfast was good, and the hotel has the basics you need for a NYC trip: a cozy bed and a decent bathroom. The location is especially good.

The man who checked me in was the only redeeming part of my stay. He deserves credit, but the hotel itself was horrendous. The pictures are misleading. The water was shut off all day, and they offered no solution for showers or drinking water. The rooms were in terrible shape, too. My first room felt freezing and drafty because the balcony door wouldn’t close or lock, and it smelled of smoke, likely from a previous guest smoking on the balcony. They moved me to a smaller room with two twin beds, a downgrade from what I’d booked and too cramped for two people with suitcases. That room had no working heat either. The location near Water Street was okay, but there are many other hotels closer by that have water.
