Fairfield Inn & Suites NY Manhattan/ Fifth Avenue

The bed was a little harder than I like, though not uncomfortable enough to spoil the stay. Breakfast was simple, with the usual staples, but there was a nice variety and nothing tasted bad. Check-in was easy, and the welcome bags and cookies were a lovely touch. The front desk team were exceptionally kind and pleasant. Great location, good experience, and Marriott standards were upheld. I'd stay again.

We found the hotel very walkable to the main attractions, and the rooms were neat and clean. There was a small issue with the sink at check-in, but it was fixed very quickly, so service gets an A+. The staff were amazing, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast stayed well stocked and had more hot and cold options than I expected. I'd highly recommend staying here!

The room was comfortable and clean, with good water pressure. The hotel is older and the furniture feels a little dated, but it has its own New York charm. Staff were extremely kind at check-in and, with the blizzard and staffing shortages, did their best to get me into a room as early as they could. I was worried by the negative reviews beforehand, but my stay was very positive. They also stored my luggage after late check-out, which made my last day much easier. The friendly staff made it a pleasant visit, so don't worry too much about those negative reviews!

Rooms are small, but that's Manhattan. Prices were reasonable and the service staff were friendly and accommodating. Ruben and Sterling at the front desk deserve a special mention: both were particularly kind and helpful, made us feel welcome and gave superior customer service. I also really appreciated that the rooms were serviced every day!
