Flushing Garden Hotel

We only stayed because circumstances beyond our control meant we couldn’t cancel, and we had to make do with what was available. The room was small and dirty, with filthy curtains, stained bed frame and carpets that clearly hadn’t been cleaned or maintained. The staff were rude and unhelpful. There was no housekeeping, and they even left trash that wasn’t ours. It wasn’t worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Please avoid it.

I found a room at the last minute for a very affordable price. The hotel was well maintained, the bed felt wonderful, and the bathroom was in excellent condition. It did the trick.

I’ve been to New York many times, and this was definitely the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. I paid around $200, but the bed took up so much space that I had to turn sideways just to get to the other side of the room. The bed and sink were both extremely small. I was in the underground C4 room. I’d thought it was on the third floor, but it was one floor below ground, so rooms A or B would be deeper underground.

The room smelled and was way too cramped, basically just a bed with barely any space to move. The man at the desk was kind of rude when we checked in. It’s a bit far from the train, though buses are close. I wouldn’t recommend this location.
