Four Seasons New York Hotel

On Saturday, 12/13/25, we stopped by the Four Seasons Hotel lobby to ask a question. Even though it was just a quick inquiry, the staff made us feel like important guests. Joel went out of his way to help and chat with us, and made us feel special. He even let us take pictures in front of the exquisite tree. What an amazing, genuine person. The other staff members were kind and professional too, though we didn’t get their names. That short interaction made such an impression that I can only imagine how wonderful the service is for hotel patrons.

I called to ask a basic question about a room I was thinking of booking, whether it had a TV. The person on the phone gave me an unnecessarily condescending, irritated response instead of a simple answer. He also brought up the Ty Warner Penthouse Suite at $85,000 a night, which had nothing to do with what I asked and felt like he was suggesting I couldn’t afford it. I wasn’t rude or demanding; I was just asking about an amenity. The whole call felt hostile and disrespectful, and left me uncomfortable and belittled. Customer service shouldn’t make people feel that way for asking a straightforward question. I’m so disappointed that I’m reconsidering booking with Four Seasons. This could have been handled with basic courtesy and a simple answer.

The hotel and rooms were amazing. I’ve had my best experience here so far! Thanks to the team and Esther for making me feel special during my stay.

I spent a lot of time in my room, and it was a calm, comfortable place to unwind. The clean, modern design, bed, lighting, and layout all worked well without feeling dull. The view also gave the stay some character, especially when the city lights came on in the evening. The bathroom was the standout for me. It’s spacious and polished, with good mirrors, water pressure, towels, and amenities. Housekeeping was consistent each day, and I appreciated the care they took resetting the room after I went out. The room made for a smooth, comfortable stay, especially if you value a quiet, well-designed space.
