Comfort Inn Fayetteville I-95

The room itself was clean and cozy, and the location was great, but I didn't feel comfortable there. A couple in the room beside me kept climbing in and out through the window, and a group sat in a circle in the parking lot drinking like they were around a campfire. I kept getting up to check on my car, so I had a hard time sleeping.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was great, and the staff I met were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was concerning, though. The worn carpets and well-used furniture, plus how much the place needs paint, are why I gave it this score. It'll do if you just need somewhere to stay, but if you want a modern, updated hotel with more for your money, this isn't it.

The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, and the coffee machine is always on with free coffee, which was a nice perk. Rooms were clean but dated, and there wasn't much in the way of amenities. The gym was so poor that I decided to drive into town and use Planet Fitness instead. I did use the gym's filtered water, which was good. The pool didn't look ready to open, and I hope that was just temporary. For what I paid, the stay was fine.

I couldn't get breakfast because the cleaning lady rushed to pull off the juice nozzles when my daughter wanted some juice. I got there at exactly 8:55 am, before breakfast ended at 9, and she treated me like a prisoner. We had to pay for food elsewhere because of her attitude. I've traveled for 15 years and have never been treated like that. I hope management takes action, because behavior like this could drive customers away. I won't come back. The area also looked very rough, with suspicious people who seemed homeless outside the hotel, and arriving with my family felt scary.
