Hilton Garden Inn New York/West 35th Street

Service was excellent, with friendly staff, a warm check-in, quick help when we asked, and attentive service throughout. The free hot breakfast had a decent selection, including eggs, waffles, and coffee, and was usually fresh. The rooms were quiet and clean, with comfy beds, good AC, a fridge, and a microwave. They're a solid size for NYC and modern enough, though nothing fancy. The Garment District spot on 35th St is convenient for Penn Station, Macy's, Herald Square, and the subway. Times Square and Midtown sights were about a 10-15 minute walk. It worked well for train travel and shopping without the crowds feeling overwhelming. Good comfort for the price, and I'd stay again. 4 stars.

The staff I met were friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of attractions within walking distance, plus the subway is close by. I stayed a few nights in January for an event and liked the clean, modern, comfortable room and its lovely view of the Empire State Building. The on-site breakfast was a good option on days when the weather wasn't great for going out, and the 24/7 grab & go store was really convenient.

It's a pretty clean place, right behind the metro stations and close to Times Square, the Rockefeller building, and plenty of other tourist attractions. There's no parking at the hotel, but you can find nearby spots. Those prices are crazy, though, over $50 a night. I'd recommend staying here in NYC.

Marilyn at reception made a real difference. She was warm, attentive, and ready to help with a smile, and the rest of the front desk team were professional, kind, and welcoming throughout. The hotel was very clean, and my room was comfortable and well maintained, just what I needed after long days around the city. The New York location also made it easy to get around and enjoy NYC. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. It has a great location, cleanliness, and exceptional hospitality, and I'd highly recommend it.
