Hyatt Centric Midtown 5th Avenue New York

The location made getting around easy, with Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, Times Square, and other Midtown attractions close by. The rooms were small, as you’d expect in NYC, but they were cleaned every day and had fresh towels. I had no problems during our stay and will come back. We were here 02/05-02/08 for my sister’s birthday. I’d asked for our rooms to be on the same floor, and the check-in staff member noticed my request. She asked about decorating my sister’s room, though I’d brought decorations, and left her a gift bag and card. We’d arrived early, so we left our luggage and went to explore while we waited. I felt really appreciated. I can’t remember the staff member’s name, but she had long curly or wavy hair and glasses. Management should give her praise and a raise. Everyone we interacted with was kind and made us feel important. 10/10, I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Rachel and Ronnie were fantastic. I was traveling solo, and Rachel found out it was my birthday and went out of her way to make my stay special. The staff decorated my room and I actually teared up when I walked in. Rachel, your great energy and smile meant a lot, thank you. Ronnie checked me in and was so kind. I got to chat with him during my stay and really enjoyed it. You can tell he cares about guests. Great location and area too.

The room was comfortable and well thought out, with a great bed and shower. Blackout curtains made it dark and quiet at night, and there was less noise than I expected after busy days in Midtown. The smaller floor footprint means fewer rooms, which was a real plus. Elevators were quick, and checking out online was seamless, so I skipped the front desk. I’ve stayed at Hyatt Centric 5th Ave twice on business trips now, and both visits were genuinely lovely. The front desk team was efficient and professional, and they offered my Hyatt Discoverist late checkout without me having to ask. I’ll absolutely be back.

Ronny made our anniversary trip feel especially thoughtful. He surprised us with an upgrade, made us feel cared for, and shared a great list of recommendations around the city. You can tell he really cares about guests and their experience. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Centric Midtown. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself was great. Ronny and the overall hospitality made the visit exceed our expectations. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
