Merrion Row Hotel and Public House

We got snowed in for three extra days and honestly didn't mind. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and the food and service were excellent. Guests also get a generous discount on food and drinks, usable once a day. The deli and Irish bar next door were great too. Most major Broadway shows are a 10-minute walk or less, and you're right by Times Square while still getting fairly quiet nights. Great value near the theatre district. I'd recommend it.

The staff were the highlight. Everyone we met went out of their way to make our visit special. We also ate at the Public House several times and enjoyed every meal. The location was convenient, the room was very clean with cozy, elegant decor, and the beds were really comfortable. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back to Merrion Row Hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Merrion Row Hotel and would definitely return. It's about a five-minute walk to Times Square and nine minutes or less to Rockefeller Center, which made getting around easy with kids. The hotel was extremely clean, and the front door staff were welcoming, kind, and attentive from the minute we arrived. My only small suggestion is to add a soft mattress pad to the sofa couch. It was easy to overlook, though, given how good the staff and the rest of the stay were. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming hotel in a convenient NYC location.

The owner was around the property, which gave me the sense of hands-on hospitality. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable, with more space than some NYC hotel rooms. I stayed several nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was good, too, with an impressive selection of tap beers. I'd happily return.
