Motto By Hilton New York City Times Square

The bed was very comfortable and the amenities were great, so I’d love to return. The room was quite small, especially the bathroom, which had very little privacy and seems better for one person. The hotel is centrally located and convenient for tourists, though that does make it pricier. Check-in at 4 pm and checkout at 10 am felt a bit rushed.

We were on a mother and teenage son trip, and the twin bunk over queen room suited us perfectly. It’s tiny, but works fine for a couple or solo traveler, though there isn’t much privacy if you’re staying with friends. Our 22nd-floor room was very quiet, and we felt safe with key-card-controlled elevators that only let you access your own floor. Housekeeping was great and kept us supplied with complimentary water. The location is excellent, close to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Broadway shows, Fifth Avenue shopping, and more. We loved our stay at Motto By Hilton in NYC Times Square and plan to return.

The staff were fantastic. They handled my couple of requests right away, and on checkout day a host was ready to take my bags for the day, so I didn’t have to track anyone down. The two aluminum bottles of water were refillable, and the resort fee also included a $10 food and beverage credit. I think the bar and restaurant stayed open until around 11 PM. They gave us some really good chocolate wafer snacks too. The Times Square location is close to Rockefeller Center, a late-night pizza shop, and a corner store right outside. The rooms are tiny, as you’d expect there, but comfortable and cleverly laid out with useful storage. The bed was comfy, and the shower felt bougie.

Times Square is only about 30 steps away, so the location is hard to beat. The room was cozy and nice, and the subway-tile bathroom gave it a cool, almost trackside feel on my first trip to New York. I had breakfast at the restaurant and really enjoyed it. The server was friendly and made it even better.
