I walked into the room and apparently Ratatouille and his gang were already there. For the first 15 minutes I watched them tidy up. At dinner, I checked the hole in the wall where they’d gone and called them out. They teamed up against the bugs, roaches, bedbugs, water bugs, fleas, and maggots, then Ratatouille went to the stove and made “le buge” from the bugs they’d killed. Very nutritious, but be careful with that dish. At check-in they handed me a cookie and I ate it without a second thought. I swear I was seeing things all night after that. A tweaker’s dream hotel.

The room was gorgeous, spotless, comfortable, and had plenty of space for one. Staff were friendly and attentive, and they even let us check in early for free. I’ve stayed in lots of NYC hotels, and this might be the nicest one I’ve had for the price. New World Hotel really is the best around!

The room is small, but that price makes sense for a short NYC visit. It and the shower were both clean, and I didn’t have any complaints despite hesitating over the negative reviews. I got there before check-in and they let me leave my luggage. Great location too.

There was barely room for me, let alone my suitcase. I could hardly sit down or lie on the bed, and it was noisy. I regret booking 7 nights here before getting my rent.

The place smelled like cigarettes! My family went in and found a BEAR in the shower, a dead moose on the bed, and termites in the sink. I got a headache after eating their berry blast jungle pops 😭😭😭
